And another “random-sketch-turned-into-an-ACEO-Card”-thing. Serah has been on my mind for a long time now. All characters for Nortia were either serious or laid-back. The cast was in need of a more hyperactive character - simply a “mood-lifter” to be exact.

Tales of Symphonia AMV “Starry Heavens” (Fanmade Opening for the Sylvarant Arc)

Holy Martel the AMV is old. This and the Fiat Lux one were both made back in 2009. I used the raws of the first Arc and tried my luck with the old Windows Movie Maker (Version 2.9 if I remember correctly. I’m kinda missing that dude… though I had to save like every minute because it keeps crashing so much).

btw: I love how the training scene of Kratos and Lloyd can be mistaken with the event in Torent Forest at least in my eyes.

I’m alive, I’m alive \o/ Motto of the day: I can’t draw shit but at least I’m having fun!(( I mean… look at this. Srsly, what are shoes? Or hands? asdfkfsdk >__< )) New Copic Markers arrived today and motivated me enough to sketch a few things >3< Finally a roughly finished Lyrica with my new eye style! I was kinda afraid she’ll turn out too “girlish” but my worries were all for nothing. Tbh I love that “cheeky” look on her face <3 Her hair changed a bit too, I guess. It’s… more smooth? Fluffy? Whatever it is, I approve!

Headcanon for Erebus: he actually has a really, really bad eyesight. Glasses, however, weren’t invented back then. Erebus wasn’t called a genius for nothing and created the first prototype of glasses. They definitely couldn’t have been called “stylish”, but Erebus still thought they made him look cool.

What is this, my strong-willed, always-looking-forward Eadiare is crying?
Oh yes, even she can shed tears, though for very few reasons.

For years now, one and the same nightmare is hunting Eadiare: the death of her older sister and role-model Pura right before her very own eyes - and sometimes even at her fault. However, even in death, Pura would encourage Eadiare to keep moving on - to smile even - as if everything would have been okay.

 Eadiare never slips a word of her nightmares to anyone. She ignores them as far as possible. Her sister is alive, right beside her, hence these nightmares are just dreams - illusions of Eadiare’s greatest fear aren’t they?


The sketches for lerenien-sei&#8217;s Christmas present. The first part (right) was already sketched out at the beginning of November, following up by&#8230; nothing. I&#8217;m ashamed to say it, but the remaining part was finished right on the 23rd December - one freaking day before the &#8220;deadline&#8221; orz I kinda couldn&#8217;t think of anything for the background. I mean, I had a vague idea what I wanted to draw and such, but I need the whole picture in my head before I can start drawing. I was actually really proud of the sketches. I mean it and then I did something horrible. I outlined and colored it orz.  My favorite part of the sketch is Grey. I honestly grow attached to him even more after stuff happens. The is the big brother one could only wish for. I&#8217;m not really used to draw males and was all the more surprised that I got him on my first try. Those eyes! One moment later I realized: &#8220;Lyrica, all the Otome Game CGs are really rubbing off you&#8221; because fuck yeah, this kind look on his face just reminds me of oh so many wonderful lovulovu CGs &gt;3&lt; No wonder that I used an actual Otome Game CG as reference for his hand. Looking back at the final piece of art, I&#8217;m not satisfied anymore which is good in its own way. I&#8217;m more than glad that my surprise worked out and you like my present,  lerenien-sei, but I promised myself again: you&#8217;ll get something &#8220;better&#8221; next time. Just you wait! :&gt;

She is constantly traveling - either teasing or helping mortals in need - and sees the whole world as her home. She was born around 800 B.N. (“before Nortia”) and is roughly 2000 years old by now.



bad cellphone quality ftw Thanks to certain circumstances I am more than ever hyped over the Tales of Symphonia OVAs AND my OC Lyrica. I truly thank the Tethe&#8217;Alla Animation for giving me a certain idea on a small Yuan/Lyrica event (pshh, she&#8217;ll hate you, but it&#8217;s fine). I began with the sketch at today&#8217;s lunch break. It&#8217;s not much so far because of a lovely distraction at MSN ♥ but - you won&#8217;t hear that one often - I&#8217;m proud of Lyrica&#8217;s expression. I began with the sketch at today’s lunch break. It’s not much so far because of a lovely distraction at MSN ♥ but - you won’t hear that one often - I’m proud of Lyrica’s expression. She doesn’t even look like Lyrica because something is wrong with the hair, but that expression ♥♥

Not bad for the first sketch. I’m no good at facial expression, but now I certainly feel a kind of improvement.

I’m going to start a second try though. Lyrica has to show more anger and hate. Plot-wise this would be the second betrayal and additionally the one that hurts her the second most.
